What sets the Clarkson University Pep Band apart from the other pep bands in the ECAC, while other than being better we perform internationally on a biannual basis. Being so close to the Canadian border means that we have the pleasure to perform for several of the minor league hockey teams that are just a quick drive away.
At these games we have to trade in our LET’S GO TECH for a GO BRAVES GO or GO LIONS GO, so lets hope the Golden Knight had an early night those days. Given that these trips normally take place before the start of Clarkson’s season, these games are a great way for new members to experience what makes the Pep Band special.
Our travels don’t stop at Canada though, just a few years ago in 2017 we found ourselves in Belfast, Ireland playing at the Friendship Four tournament. Not many bands can claim to have been across the pond, but even if they did they wouldn’t have as great of a time as we would. We travel because we love our team and want to extend our support to them outside of Cheel; it’s just a bonus that we have tons of fun in the process…
