NCAA Champions! 2017 Women’s Hockey
In 2017, the Clarskon Women’s Hockey Team won the NCAA Championship, cementing their legacy as one of the greatest Clarkson teams of all time. This video memorializes the spirit of that victory. See members of the pep band hold the trophy aloft as they celebrate a victory for the ages.
Story of the Pep Band
Bill Rutherford ’64 tells the tale of the fabled Clarkson Pep Band’s founding. In 1964, the Clarkson Pep Band was born and changed the face college hockey pep bands. They became instantly recognizable for playing the popular music of the day, instead of traditional marching band music. On July 12, 2014, the Pep Band celebrated their 50th Anniversary on campus at Alumni Reunion.
